A beautiful Wembley Ware fan vase produced by the Bristile Pottery, Subiaco WA, during the mid-20th century.
This piece features Wembley Ware’s signature lustre glaze, shifting from soft pastel blue to pink tones with a pearly iridescent finish. The front is decorated with a large yellow-gold rose, while the reverse has smaller rose sprays. The interior has a striking golden lustre with a scalloped fan-shaped rim finished in gilt.
A fine example of Western Australia’s most famous pottery, combining function and decorative flair — a perfect collector’s piece or display item.
