A beautifully crafted Australian-made jarrah hutch dresser by renowned furniture maker TH Brown & Sons, retaining its original Western Australia maker's badge.
Manufactured around 1980, this substantial piece showcases the rich colour and distinctive grain for which Western Australian jarrah is prized. The upper hutch features an elegant scalloped cornice, two display shelves and a figured jarrah back, providing the perfect setting for displaying china, glassware, books or collectables.
The base offers a generous serving surface, two drawers—including an original green baize-lined cutlery drawer—and a spacious three-door cupboard with adjustable shelving, making it as practical as it is attractive.
Constructed in the traditional manner using solid jarrah framing with beautifully figured jarrah veneers, the dresser separates into two sections for easier transport.
Presented in very good original vintage condition, it displays only light age-related wear consistent with careful use and retains its original brass hardware throughout.
