A striking late Victorian satin cased art glass bottle vase dating to around 1890–1910, featuring an elegant elongated neck and beautifully hand-enamelled feather decoration in vibrant shades of green, blue, purple, ochre and coral.
The softly frosted satin finish contrasts beautifully with the raised enamel work, giving the piece a distinctly Art Nouveau feel. While unsigned, the quality and style are consistent with the decorative satin glass produced in Bohemia or England during the late Victorian period. Similar enamelled satin glass examples are commonly attributed to Bohemian workshops or makers such as Thomas Webb, although an exact attribution cannot be made without a signature.
An elegant decorative piece for collectors of Victorian art glass.
