A beautiful hand-blown Bohemian art glass vase dating to the late Victorian period, featuring a satin uranium opaline body with a striking ruby-shaded neck and exquisite hand-enamelled thistle decoration highlighted with delicate gilding.

Under UV light the uranium glass glows a brilliant emerald green, dramatically revealing the intricate floral decoration and making this an exceptional display piece for collectors. The vase is finished with a polished pontil base, confirming its traditional hand-crafted manufacture.

Attributed to one of the renowned Bohemian glasshouses such as Harrach or Meyr's Neffe, this elegant vase perfectly captures the artistry and innovation of late 19th-century European glassmaking.
