A striking example of Royal Doulton’s celebrated flambé ware, featuring the classic “Landscape” pattern in black silhouette against a rich oxblood red ground.
Produced at the Burslem factory in England, this piece displays a strong, even copper-red flambé glaze, achieved through reduction firing, with a crisp scenic reserve depicting trees and a rural dwelling. The glaze has developed well, with consistent depth and tone across the body.
