A striking Royal Doulton flambé dish dating to the late 1920s, finished in a rich oxblood red glaze with smoky marbling and a contrasting pale buff ring. Produced using Doulton’s celebrated flambé firing technique, each piece displays natural variation and depth created by high-temperature reduction firing.
The base carries the Royal Doulton crown mark with “England” and the impressed 1928 design date. A compact yet visually powerful example of inter-war British studio ceramics, ideal for collectors or as a sculptural display piece.
