Royal Doulton "Chrysanthemum" D6399 Art Deco Serving Plate – Hand Decorated Floral Platter

An elegant Royal Doulton "Chrysanthemum" serving plate in the sought-after D6399 pattern, beautifully hand decorated with richly coloured chrysanthemums against a luminous lustre ground.

This attractive rectangular platter features deep burgundy, cream and green chrysanthemums with buds and foliage, framed by a vivid green scalloped edge. The softly iridescent peach, mauve and gold background gives the piece wonderful depth and is characteristic of Royal Doulton's decorative Art Deco wares.

The reverse carries the Royal Doulton England backstamp with pattern name Chrysanthemum D6399.
