An impressive matched pair of Royal Dux porcelain elephant figures, produced in Czechoslovakia around the 1960s. These substantial decorative pieces feature raised trunks, finely modelled tusks, expressive detailing and the distinctive shaded grey-to-ivory glaze for which Royal Dux is well known.
Large Royal Dux animals have become increasingly sought after, and finding a genuine matching pair in excellent condition is far less common than single examples. Displayed together, they make a striking statement in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Both figures are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted.
