c.1960s–1970s
A striking mid-century art glass bowl formed in thick, layered cased glass, combining rich magenta pink, amethyst purple and deep cobalt blue tones.
The sculptural triangular form with softly folded rim is characteristic of European studio and Scandinavian-influenced glass of the 1960s–70s, designed as both a functional centrepiece and a decorative object.
Exceptionally heavy for its size, this piece displays strong colour separation and excellent optical depth — particularly when viewed from above or in natural light.
A substantial and visually dramatic example of post-war decorative glass.
