A commanding 75 cm tall hand-blown art glass floor vase by Krosno, from the Jozefina range, made in Poland.
Formed in deep black amethyst glass, the vase is decorated with elongated aventurine inclusions that shimmer subtly through the body, creating depth and movement as light passes across the surface. The elegant trumpet form rises from a weighted foot and finishes in a softly undulating rim, giving the piece a strong sculptural presence.
This example retains its original Krosno Jozefina label, confirming hand manufacture and authenticity. Produced during the late 20th century, it reflects the high standard of Polish studio glass that made Krosno internationally recognised.
Equally effective as a standalone sculptural object or as a dramatic vessel for tall stems, this is a statement piece suited to curated interiors, gallery settings or serious art-glass collections.
