A fine late 19th-century cheese dome and base by Franz Anton Mehlem, Bonn, Germany (later absorbed by Villeroy & Boch). Decorated with bold hand-painted florals in pink, turquoise, and cobalt blue, with gilded centers. The ribbed triangular form and branch-style handle give it classic Bonn style and presence.
