Fun and unusual pair of Darbyshire Pottery onion-form salt & pepper shakers, made in Western Australia.

Modelled as stylised onions with soft green and earthy brown glaze, finished with sculpted stems and a rounded, almost sculptural form. A great example of mid-century Australian kitchenalia — practical, but really more about display and character.

These novelty food forms are getting harder to find, especially in matching pairs.
