Set of seven graduated Chinese calligraphy brushes presented in a royal-blue and gold patterned brocade-covered case with orange fabric lining.
The brushes have wooden handles with Chinese characters, black ferrules and red-and-white printed labels. They are held in place by red retaining cords. The case closes with two loop-and-toggle fastenings and bears a Chinese-character paper label.
Seven brushes included, ranging from broad to fine tips. Age and maker have not been verified.
Pre-owned condition. Brushes appear lightly used or unused from photographs; there is visible wear, loose threads and some marks to the case and lining. Please examine photographs carefully.
