Traditional-style Chinese calligraphy brush set comprising five graduated brushes with pale bristles, black ferrules and bamboo-coloured wooden handles, presented in a patterned green, cream and navy brocade-covered case.
The case opens to reveal bright green fabric lining and retaining cords. The brushes have Chinese characters on the handles and printed paper labels; the bristles are protected by clear wrapping. A Chinese-character label decorates the case exterior.
