I found love in writing as a child at school, and many decades ago, I started to make notes and collect stories from my life and the lives of those around me - acquaintances, friends, and loved ones. My passion for writing only grew stronger, but I was unable to type and had terrible handwriting, so writing a book was always a dream that was just out of my reach. As time went by and computers became prominent features in the home, I saw my dream edging closer, and I was presented with a new challenge: computer literacy. As I learned the ways of new technology and began to piece my stories together, I became completely absorbed in it. All I wanted to do was write: By the time I was in too deep to turn back, many of my scribbled recordings of history were no longer legible due to the combination of age and poor handwriting, so trying to determine an accurate timeline was difficult. This is my record of my history, my recollection of my events, and my book of memories. This is Bare Feet on Sharp Stones.
