Bakelite Art Deco Ashtray Stand

A sculptural cream-marbled Bakelite ashtray stand, circa 1930s–1950s, featuring an elegant fluted column and stepped base in the streamlined Art Deco style.
Originally used in hotel lobbies and parlours, it now makes a striking decorative accent or lamp base.
The original chrome top mount remains — the removable glass ashtray insert is no longer present.
