England | c.1930s–1940s
A beautifully decorated Aynsley bone china bowl, featuring richly coloured orchard fruits including peaches, plums, and berries, set against a warm tonal ground.
The fruit decoration is finely shaded in the painterly style for which Aynsley is renowned, with subtle stippling and graduated colour giving the imagery real depth and warmth. Finished with a gilt rim, the form flares gently toward the lip, making it both decorative and functional.
The base bears the green Aynsley crown mark, with the company’s founding date 1775, and “Fine Bone China – England.”
