Art Deco Opalescent Glass Bowl with Hazelnut Motif by Arrers, 1930s
This exceptionally stylish and sophisticated bowl is spectacularly decorated with a moulded pattern of "Hazelnuts and Leaves" rendered in relief to the underside. Three clusters of hazelnuts form the feet of the bowl, beautifully elevating the form to enable the light to illuminate the opalescent glass. The hazelnut clusters are surrounded by relief leaves which create a harmoniously balanced and sinuously flowing design which spectacularly radiates light throughout the opalescent glass.
