England, c. 1880–1900
well-formed antique Victorian cranberry glass jug, hand-blown in the late 19th century. The body is decorated with a twist-optic spiral, creating fluid movement through the glass, and finished with a clear applied ribbed handle.
The colour graduates from a deeper cranberry at the base to a softer pink tone toward the neck — a characteristic feature of Victorian decorative glass. Finished with a shaped pouring lip and a solid, polished base.
A classic small Victorian jug — decorative, tactile, and very displayable.
