A charming small Wedgwood blue jasperware cream jug, decorated in crisp white classical relief scenes depicting figures, foliage and urns in the neoclassical taste. Finished with its original hinged pewter lid, adding both function and character.

This diminutive jug is beautifully proportioned and displays well, whether grouped with other jasperware, used in a cabinet display, or appreciated as a standalone decorative object. The relief work is sharp and well-modelled, contrasting elegantly against the deep cobalt blue ground.
