Striking late Victorian cranberry glass vase, hand blown with a bulbous ribbed body and finished with six applied clear glass feet. The rim is decorated with applied clear glass scrollwork, a classic decorative flourish of the period.
The rich cranberry colour is strong and even, with visible hand-working throughout and a pontil scar to the base confirming traditional production. A substantial decorative piece that works beautifully as a standalone object or as part of a maximalist or period interior.
Late Victorian to Edwardian era, circa 1890–1910.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Light surface wear and small inclusions consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted to rim or feet.
Dimensions
Approx. 18–19 cm high
Why we love it
Pure presence. Sculptural, tactile, and unapologetically decorative — exactly the sort of glass that stops people mid-aisle.
