Late Victorian cranberry glass bowl dating to the 1880s, featuring a deep ruby-cranberry body and a wide flared rim decorated with applied clear glass prunts. The colour is strong and even, and the bowl has good weight, typical of quality English or Bohemian production of the period.
A bold decorative piece that displays beautifully and has real shelf presence.

Condition
Antique condition. There are some small rim chips and flea-bite nibbles, visible on close inspection and shown in the photographs. No cracks or repairs. These do not detract from display and are consistent with age and use.
