Classic aqua glass Codd bottle embossed “W.E. Wiscombe, Plymouth, Registered Trade Mark.”
Wiscombe operated from Devon in the early 1900s, producing aerated waters and ginger beer in these distinctive marble-stopper bottles. The marble was sealed by internal pressure and released with a satisfying “pop” — a hallmark of Edwardian soft drink culture.
