Manufactured in England during the early to mid-20th century, the ingenious Auto Strop system allowed the blade to be stropped without removal from the razor. This example is a more complete set than most, retaining its knurled metal razor, leather strop, original blade holder, Bakelite case embossed "Valet Auto Strop Safety Razor – Made in England", and original instruction booklet.
A wonderful addition to any collection of vintage shaving equipment, barberiana or Art Deco grooming accessories.
