Decorative mid–late 20th century art glass basket vase in the Murano manner, featuring a vivid multicolour spatter pattern in orange, cobalt, green, yellow and white over clear glass.
Formed with a wide crimped and folded rim, rising into an arched loop handle with applied prunts (glass droplets) around the outer edge. The body sits on a clear applied foot with textured terminals, giving it a sculptural, almost organic feel.
More a display piece than a working vase. Strong shelf presence.
Unmarked, typical of Italian/Murano-style export pieces from the period.
