Vintage James Kent “Du Barry” Chintz Divided Serving Dish – All Over Floral – England

Classic English chintz from James Kent, Longton Staffordshire in the sought-after “Du Barry” pattern. This is the divided serving dish version with a central ridge, finished in a dense all-over floral transfer typical of Kent’s mid-century production.

Nicely scalloped form with slight lobed handles. Bright, busy floral palette in pinks, blues, yellows and greens over a cream ground. Light age crazing to the glaze as expected. No major chips or cracks noted.

A good display piece but also usable for serving – jams, nuts, lollies, or high tea spreads.
