A rare survivor from Perth’s retail history — a khaki pith-style safari helmet from Goodes Hat Shop, once located on Hay Street, Perth.
This hat features its original Goodes Hat Shop stamp inside the red cotton lining and a restorable leather chin strap. Constructed from sturdy canvas over a hard inner shell, it represents mid-20th century Australian craftsmanship inspired by British colonial and outback styles.
