Vintage Frigate Rum Advertising Jug (c.1960s–70s)

A classic Australian bar advertising jug promoting Frigate Overproof Rum, produced for use in pubs and bottle shops during the mid-twentieth century. Manufactured in vitrified ceramic and decorated with bold red and black branding and a sailing frigate motif, these jugs were used as water servers alongside spirits at the bar. Today they are a highly collectable category of breweriana and spirits memorabilia, prized for their strong typography and nautical imagery.
