Mid-Century Chalkware | c.1950s–1960s
A classic piece of mid-century domestic décor.
This set of five flying ducks is made in painted chalkware, finished in warm ochre and olive tones with red beaks and black feet — the unmistakable look of post-war Australian and British interiors.
Once a staple of kitchens, hallways and lounges from the 1950s through to the 1970s, flying ducks remain one of the most recognisable and collectible wall decorations of the era.
Perfect arranged in flight formation across a wall.
