Era: Victorian, c. 1880–1900
Height: 16 cm
Description
A genuine Victorian cranberry glass vase, finely hand-blown and richly coloured, dating to the late 19th century. The vase features a flared ruffled rim, elegant tapering body, and a decorative applied clear glass rigaree ring to the waist — a hallmark of Victorian decorative glass.
The piece is finished with a sculptural applied clear glass foot formed from petal-like pads. The glass displays gentle tonal variation and internal movement consistent with period production, with no mould seams evident.
Despite its modest height, this is a high-quality decorative example of Victorian cranberry glass, ideal for cabinet display or pairing with other 19th-century glass.
