A striking late Victorian parlour sideboard, sourced from a former Kalgoorlie goldfields parlour, dating to around 1895–1910.
Designed for the “best room”, this is decorative parlour furniture rather than a dining sideboard – elegant, vertical, and richly detailed.
The piece features a bevelled mirror back, pierced and carved crest, shaped mirror panels to the cabinet doors, original brass hardware, and finely carved detailing throughout. A classic example of Australian-market Victorian furniture sold during the Western Australian gold rush era.
