This elegant 19th-century pedestal table blends form and function with serious style. Crafted in rich timber with inlaid floral marquetry and symbolic suit markers around the top, it's perfect as either a sewing table or an occasional games table.
Lift the hinged lid to reveal a stunning octagonal compartment lined in aged velvet, complete with individual lidded and open sections—ideal for storing cards, threads, notions, dice, or other treasures. The interior even features a mirrored panel in the lid. Raised on a tapering pedestal with a tri-footed base and sweeping legs, this is a beautifully made and surprisingly versatile piece.
