A fine late Victorian two-piece bookcase cabinet bearing the original maker’s plaque:
GEORGE M’BEAN, 7 South Bell St., ST. ANDREWS (Scotland).

Crafted from solid mahogany with rich, warm patina, the cabinet features:

  • An upper glazed bookcase with original sliding glass doors and internal shelving

  • A deep counter section ideal for display or workspace use

  • A lower cupboard with paneled doors offering generous concealed storage

  • Reeded edge detailing and classic Victorian proportions

The presence of the original brass maker’s plate confirms its provenance to a respected Scottish cabinetmaker active in the late 19th century in historic St Andrews.
