Victorian 9ct Rolled Gold Heart Locket Pendant

A charming late Victorian to Edwardian heart-shaped locket crafted in 9ct rolled gold. The front retains its original convex glass panel displaying a delicate printed portrait of an 18th-century lady in powdered wig and period dress, set against a textured silk or fabric ground. Hallmarks to side.

The locket features a traditional heart form with suspension ring and decorative finial, making it suitable for wear as a pendant or inclusion in a collection of antique sentimental jewellery. The romantic portrait and unusual fabric-backed presentation give the piece considerable decorative appeal.

Condition: Good antique condition. Age-related wear to rolled gold finish and minor wear to the portrait image consistent with age. Glass panel intact. Untested internally.
