A classic Swiss-made pocket watch dating from the interwar period, retailed under the The Golding Lever name. Featuring a clean white enamel dial with bold Arabic numerals, blued steel cathedral-style hands and a subsidiary seconds dial, this is an attractive and practical example of a traditional mechanical pocket watch.

The watch is fitted with a hand-wound Swiss lever movement housed in a nickel/chrome case. Private-label watches such as this were commonly sold through jewellers throughout Britain and Australia during the 1920s and 1930s, offering reliable Swiss craftsmanship at an affordable price.
