A superb refurbished late Victorian / Federation-era Tasmanian blackwood extension dining table standing on bold turned legs with original brass casters. Beautifully finished with a rich warm glow, this impressive table easily seats 8–10 fully extended — ideal for heritage homes, family gatherings and character interiors.
The table opens via a traditional internal wind-out mechanism (winder included), revealing two original extension leaves that slot neatly into place. Extended, it becomes a commanding centrepiece; closed, it’s a generous everyday dining size.
Blackwood of this age has become increasingly scarce, and the deep chatoyance and colour in the grain are exceptional.
