arly 20th century Scott’s Emulsion cod liver oil bottle in sun-coloured amethyst glass. Rectangular form with chamfered shoulders and embossed branding to both sides. Originally manufactured in clear glass, the rich purple tone has developed through long exposure to sunlight, a characteristic transformation of manganese glass. Displays well with even colour and good clarity.
Condition: Good antique condition. Light internal haze and general wear from age. Minor surface marks and small nibbles around edges as shown. No major cracks.
