Royal Worcester Egg Coddler with Chrome Lid – Blackberry Pattern Made in England

Royal Worcester porcelain egg coddler, Made in England, with original chrome lid and ring handle. Classic oven-to-table ware featuring a naturalistic blackberry and blossom motif to one side, and a wren-style bird scene on the other.

Backstamp confirms Royal Worcester Fine Porcelain, oven-to-table ware. Mid-late 20th century production.

These were designed for gently cooking eggs in a bain-marie, but they’ve crossed over nicely into display or kitchenalia collections.

Clean white body, crisp transfer, and a nice bit of shine on the lid.

Condition
Very good condition. No chips or cracks noted. Light wear to base ring. Lid clean with minor surface marks consistent with use.
