Rare Broome WA Codd Bottle – Johnston & Piggott (J & P) Marble Stopper

A scarce Western Australian Codd bottle from Johnston & Piggott of Broome, dating to the late 19th–early 20th century.

Embossed “J & P” within a shield, retaining its original internal marble stopper and classic thumb-grip neck.

Examples from Broome are significantly rarer than metropolitan bottles due to lower production and survival rates.

Condition: Dug example with internal haze and surface wear consistent with age.
