A decorative pair of greyhound figurines produced in the Victorian Revival tradition, inspired by the classic Staffordshire mantel dogs that adorned 19th-century fireplaces and sideboards.
Rather than true bookends, these are sculptural ornaments — modelled in an elegant seated pose and mounted on shaped cobalt-blue bases with gilt banding.
