A genuine military steel helmet dating from the World War era, most likely WWI or early WWII British/Commonwealth Brodie pattern. Constructed from heavy pressed steel with original aged paint finish, this example features deep patination, surface wear and rust consistent with long-term field use and storage.
The helmet retains its original fabric chinstrap, though worn and partially detached, and presents display-style rather than wearable condition. A small vent hole is located at the crown.
Ideal for collectors of military history, ANZAC memorabilia, or for use in industrial interior styling, museum-style display or wartime themed exhibitions.
• Authentic WWI/WWII-era military helmet (Brodie style)
• Heavy gauge steel construction with vented crown
• Original fabric chinstrap present (worn)
• Significant age patina – unrestored
• Believed to be Commonwealth manufacture (Australia/UK)
• Approximate diameter 29 cm
• Suitable for static display only
Shipping available nationwide. Can be viewed in-store at Northam Secondhand.
