Olympic Air-Ride Tyre Ashtray

A distinctive Australian mid-century advertising ashtray made from a genuine miniature Olympic Air-Ride tubeless tyre fitted with a glass ashtray insert. The centre features the iconic Olympic Tyres logo with a map of Australia and tyre fitter graphic, making it an appealing piece of Australian motoring and petroliana memorabilia.

Produced as a promotional item during the 1950s-1960s, these tyre ashtrays were commonly distributed through tyre dealers, service stations and automotive businesses. Today they are sought after by collectors of Australian advertising, garage memorabilia, automobilia and smoking collectables.
