Lithographed tinplate advertising jar made by Macfarlane Lang & Co., Glasgow & London, around 1920. Styled after a cloisonné or ginger jar, with golden cherry blossom branches over deep teal waves — a design echoing early 20th-century Japonisme. Original domed lid with knop finial; surface patina and age wear consistent with its century of service. A fine decorative survivor from the golden age of British biscuit tins.
