An original Kodak No. 1A Pocket Kodak Series II folding camera dating from the late 1920s to early 1930s, complete with its original brown leather carrying case.
Finished in black leatherette with bright nickel-plated fittings, this self-erecting folding camera is fitted with a Kodak Anastigmat f/7.7 10.5 cm lens and a Ball Bearing shutter offering T, B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and 1/125 second settings. It was designed for 116 roll film and features the classic Art Deco styling that made Kodak's folding cameras so popular during the interwar period.
Presented in very good cosmetic condition, the leatherette is clean, the chrome is bright, the bellows appear sound, and the camera retains its original leather case embossed "L.A.T.". A superb display piece for collectors of early photography and vintage cameras.
