A striking example of Czechoslovakian Art Deco glassmaking, this rare float bowl was produced by Josef Inwald in the 1930s. Crafted in a brilliant electric blue pressed glass, it features a beaded rim, ribbed body, and broad form designed to hold a flower frog or figural centrepiece.

Inwald float bowls were a hallmark of interwar design, combining modern geometric forms with practical use as centrepieces for floral displays. Today they are highly prized by collectors of European glass for their sculptural presence, bold colours, and historical significance.
