Beswick Kangaroo Model 1160 – Made in England

An attractive vintage Beswick kangaroo, model 1160, finished in naturalistic shades of brown with a cream chest and standing on a textured green and tan base. Beautifully modelled with alert ears and an upright stance, this is one of Beswick's classic Australian wildlife figures.

The underside is impressed 1160 and carries the Beswick England backstamp, dating the piece to the mid-20th century.

A charming display piece for collectors of Beswick, British ceramics or Australian fauna.
