Authentic Victorian hand-blown cranberry glass vase dating to circa 1880, featuring a beautifully applied and tooled ruffled rim with pronounced folded lobes. The rich ruby-cranberry colour is achieved using gold oxide, producing the distinctive warm pink-red tone prized in late 19th century English art glass.

The form is particularly strong—rounded bulbous body rising to a dramatically pinched and applied rim, showing clear evidence of hand tooling and manipulation while hot. The pontil-finished base and subtle internal striations confirm traditional free-blown manufacture.
