c. 1910–1925 | England
A solid and well-proportioned early 20th-century oak wardrobe, ideal as a gentleman’s wardrobe, linen cupboard, or compact armoire. This is a nicely restrained piece with subtle decorative detailing rather than heavy carving, making it easy to place in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
The façade features panelled doors with applied beaded vertical detail and a carved foliate frieze, standing on bun feet. Inside, the wardrobe retains a practical original layout with hanging space, hooks, shelves, and a lower drawer, making it genuinely useful rather than purely decorative.
