An impressive original West Australian jarrah fireplace surround, c.1900–1915, showcasing clean Federation-era lines softened with elegant Art Nouveau styling.
The central panel features a trio of vibrant green majolica-style tiles, each with stylised foliage motif — a classic turn-of-the-century decorative detail. The surround retains its original rich jarrah tone, currently unpolished for authenticity, ready to oil, wax, or restore to suit your space. Includes the cast iron fire grate and curved insert, displaying age and character consistent with use.
The architectural scale makes this a commanding feature —
standing approximately 1.8 metres tall, ideal for heritage restoration, period home renovation, or as a statement fireplace in a modern interior.
✨ A rare early example of WA jarrah craft with Art Nouveau influence — substantial presence, beautiful tile work, and preserved in original form.
