A classic English dairy advertising pot from the turn of the 20th century, stamped in cobalt blue for BOAM’S, Ardwick, Manchester.
These small stoneware vessels were used for retail sale of “double thick cream” and returned for reuse, making surviving examples a tangible link to everyday urban food supply in industrial England.
Nicely proportioned with a rolled lip and warm buff glaze, the piece carries a crisp transfer print with strong typographic appeal. A solid display example for collectors of advertising ware, dairy pots, or English stoneware.
